Shot / Reverse Shot by Every Frame a Painting

There is a simple beauty to the rhythm, shot selection and editing style of Coen brothers films. Allowing you to experience the film in an intentionally visceral manner that is both stylized yet tangible in a universal way is such a pleasure to experience.  It's awesome in that it keeps film making very simple, allowing the moments that happen on screen to be enjoyed for what they are by shooting them classically with a shot, a reverse shot and with generally wide angled lens's.  Check out how 'Every Frame's a Painting' Tony Zhou explains and analyses this style.  It's great!
